A network of 29 shallow monitoring and domestic wells in agricultural areas and two wells in forested areas were sampled from 2001 to 2003 to determine the effects of agricultural land use on shallow water quality on the Delmarva Peninsula. Sixteen of these wells were previously sampled in 1988 and 1990, and analytical results were used to evaluate trends in ground-water quality.
