Active Tidal-Height Gaging Stations, Listed in Downstream Order

As of May 1, 2007

The following continuous-record stations in Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia are active. Included are streamflow gaging stations and tidal height gaging stations. Daily streamflow records (discharge) have been collected and published for the period of record, expressed in water years, shown for each station. Tidal height data are collected to assist USGS and cooperating agencies in making hydrologic analyses, but are generally not published. Water Years are defined as the period October 1 through September 30. For example, the Water Year 2007 is defined as October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007.
